i think there are more ways in the second triangle.

I think there are approximately 25-30 but I lost count after a while. I drew the diagram and used colored pens to track the word.
The patterns of the letters change:

In the rectangle one, in letters it is 3-letters wide and 4-letters long so 3X4=12!

In the first triangle you can spell ABACUS 6 times. I found out that the number of S’s determins how many times you can spell ABACUS in the triangle so in the second triangle there are 11 S’s so you can make the word ABACUS 11 times.
